A war criminal is someone who has committed a war crime.

Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay
In May 2012 the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission found George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, John Yoo, Jay Bybee, Alberto Gonzales, David Addington and William Haynes II guilty in connection with torture carried out at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay.
