Wtc6-hole.jpg
An aerial view, showing the dramatic hole in the middle of the building, which affected the subterranean levels.
A building in the World Trade Center which suffered a complete failure during September 11th, 2001 in a manner which may not be consistent with mere falling debris.

Six world trade, or WTC6 was an eight-story building that stood directly northeast of the the North Tower (WTC 1).

The large (and highly visible) hole in the middle of the image in is WT6.

September 11th

The building was destroyed on 9-11. While apparent fire damage was in evidence, and requires no special explanation, the large hole is so localised and so deep that it seems that it may not have been caused by falling debris, although some have made this case.[1]

No casualties were reported from the building, from which around 800 employees were promptly evacuated after the planes hit WTC 1 & 2.
