The Australian Greens, commonly known as The Greens, are a confederation of Green state and territory political parties in Australia. As of the 2022 federal election, the Greens are the third largest political party in Australia by vote and the fourth largest by elected representation.

Party discipline

In 2023, the Victorian branch of the party added new clause added to the code of conduct, makes it clear that engaging in "transphobia", including "denying the existence of non-binary genders", is a breach of the behavioural standards for members,[1] and is cause for expulsion.[2]
