David Durenberger is an American politician and a former Republican member of the U.S. Senate from Minnesota.

Conviction

Durenberger did not run for reelection in 1994 and was succeeded by Rod Grams. In 1995, he pleaded guilty to charges of misuse of public funds while in office and was sentenced to one year of probation.[1][2][3]
