Sir Arthur Eric Courtney Drake was a British businessman, Chairman of BP from 1969 to 1975. He attended the 1973 Bilderberg which discussed the 1973 Oil crisis that later emerged.

Background

Drake was born in Rochester, Kent, the son of a doctor, and educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he received a bachelor's degree in law.[1]

In 1975, he was by succeeded Sir David Steel as chairman of BP.[2]
