ExposedCOVID-19/Pandemic
An expert in infectious diseases whom the CDC told to stop her tests for COVID-19 in January 2020.

Dr. Helen Y. Chu is a US doctor resident in Seattle.[1] After the arrival of a COVID case who attempted to alert the CDC and FDA to the danger of a COVID-19 in the US in January 2020. She was explicitly instructed to stop testing for the disease.[2]

COVID-19 whistleblowing

"Investigators and Seattle health officials gathered with representatives of the C.D.C. and the F.D.A. to discuss what happened. The message from the federal government was blunt. “What they said on that phone call very clearly was cease and desist to Helen Chu,” Dr. Lindquist remembered. “Stop testing.”" She obeyed this order, but on 25 February she and her colleagues began testing again without approval, only to discover that “It’s just everywhere already.”[2]
