James Aloysius "Ace" Lyons Jr. was a U.S. admiral who played a central role in the Reagan escalation of the Cold War. In 2018, he wrote a column about the murder of Seth Rich, saying it had "all the earmarks of a targeted hit job".
Ocean Venture
Ocean Venture was a key part of a series of NATO exercises that began in July 1981. By sending a large strike fleet to just outside the main Soviet fleet bases in a surprise move, it almost triggered a World War 3 when the Soviet leadership panicked.

On March 1, 2018, The Washington Times published an column by Lyons about the murder of Seth Rich. In the article, Lyons, saying that it "has all the earmarks of a targeted hit job", informed that "it is well known in the intelligence circles that Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron Rich, downloaded the DNC emails and was paid by Wikileaks for that information... However, strangely no one has been charged with this horrific crime, and what is more intriguing is that no law enforcement agency is even investigating this murder.
