Lawrence "Larry" E. King Jr. is/was a multi-millionaire businessman/conman who was closely involved in the Franklin child prostitution ring which exploited children from Boystown, Nebraska.[1] He was a rising star in the Republican party and general manager of the Franklin Credit Union in Omaha in the 1980s.

King began flaunting a lavish lifestyle. He spent excessively on parties, jewelry, and houses. This caught the attention of the IRS. Subsequent investigations found that King had stolen $40 million dollars from the Credit Union. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiracy, fraud, and filing false tax returns. He was released after serving 10 years.
