Mark Field (born 6 October 1964) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for the cities of London and Westminster since the UK/2001 General Election.

On 13 June 2017 Mark Field was appointed a Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

On 21 June 2019 Prime Minister Theresa May suspended him as a Minister following an incident at a Mansion House banquet when Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond was speaking on 20 June 2019.[1]

Private life

Mark Field is married to Victoria (Vicki) Field. They live in Westminster and Mallorca with their son, Frederick and their daughter, Arabella.[2]

Field's first marriage to Michèle ended in divorce in 2006, with his ex-wife citing his affair with Liz Truss, who is now Conservative MP for the constituency of South West Norfolk since 2010 and a Cabinet member in Theresa May's government.[3]
