Ran for leader of the Conservative Party in 2017; lost by 700 votes.

Started his new People's Party in 2018.

Lost his seat in 2019.

Running for Parliament at the 2021 Canadian federal election, running on a populist anti lockdown platform.[1]

Opinions

Opposes open borders. Bernier called Justin Trudeau as the "world's most prominent defender" of the Great Reset.[2]

COVID-19

Opposes mask mandates and mandatory COVID Vaccine.
