Niue is a self-governing state in free association with New Zealand in Oceania. It is located 2400 km northeast of New Zealand. Its population, predominantly Polynesian, was about 1,600 in 2016.
Activities
The Panama Papers reveal that Mossack Fonseca created a tax haven in Niue, which they ran out of their offices in Panama.[1]
During COVID-19, Niue achieved 100% vaccination in Summer 2021. The island used the Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.[2]
