Orit Gadiesh is an Israeli-American strategist and chairperson of Bain & Company.

Background

Gadiesh was born in Haifa, Israel, in 1951, the daughter of a Berlin-born Israel Defense Forces Colonel Falk Gadiesh

She served in the IDF, "not anywhere, but with the second most important man in the Israeli army, watching decisions about life and death in the command center"[1], in the office of Deputy Chief of Staff Ezer Weizman.[2]

Activities

Forbes has listed her among the world's "100 most powerful women" four times since 2004.[3]

As of 2020 she was chair of Bain & Company.

She sat on the International Advisory Board of The Atlantic Council.[4][When?]
