An activist alert to the reality of deep politics and the Machiavellian nature of many who engage in it.

Ralph Schoenman is a lecturer and peace activist since the 1960s.

Career

Schoenman was a political activist and head of a Marxist group in San Francisco. He was an associate of the philosopher Bertrand Russell and involved in a number of projects supported by Russell, including the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). He was the executive director of the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation, was Secretary General of the International Tribunal on U.S. War Crimes in Indochina (the Russell Tribunal), founder and Director of the Vietnam Solidarity Campaign, and Director of the Who Killed Kennedy Committee.

Activities

Since 2002 Schoenman has worked with documentary filmmaker, Mya Shone, providing commentary for radio stations in many parts of the US and Canada, and produced the Taking Aim radio show, billed as "Uncompromising, fact intensive exposés of the hidden workings of a capitalist system addicted to permanent war" on the Pacifica radio station WBAI 99.5 FM. [1][2]

In about 2009 they moved from broadcasting over WBAI to an Internet webcast.

Writings

Ralph Schoenman's writings urge caution with respect to official narratives. He was an early advocate that the 1993 WTC Attack was a false flag carried out with the knowledge of the FBI, before this was widely understood.[3]
