Selahattin Tokay was a Turkish officer.
Lieutenant Colonel Selahattin Tokay was appointed as the chief of staff to the Turkish forces in the Korean War. Due to the success in Korea, Tokay, together with the other officers, was awarded the Silver Star medal.[1]
He died in 1966, as Major General[2].
An American "recommendation" for Selahattin Tokay's appointment to the Armored Units School. The "recommendation" was deemed appropriate and he was assigned to the school. One can come across the documents of many similar "recommendations" in the American archives. Among them are even people who later became force commanders. Selahattin Tokay would later be promoted to general.[3][4]
