Problematic first sentence

Today User:Charlesfrith added the text in italics:

Michael Foster is a millionaire showbiz agent who, as Managing Director of Content at Carlton Communications from September 1999 to February 2001, worked alongside David Cameron, the media company's Director of Corporate Affairs, during the time Cameron purchased Central TV to prevent their Cook Report documentary on Westminster paedophiles from being aired.

According to Wikipedia:

"In March 1987, Carlton Communications acquired 20 per cent of Central from Ladbrokes for £30million which finally gave Carlton its first stake in a terrestrial broadcasting company, after a bid to buy Thames Television was blocked by the IBA two years beforehand. In January 1994, Central was bought in its entirety by Carlton for £750 million."

So Central TV was bought by Carlton (not Cameron) before David Cameron became Director of Corporate Affairs in July 1994.

The Cook Report was axed in 1998.

According to the Exaro News article added by Robin:

"Ben Fellows alleged that Clarke sexually assaulted him during undercover filming for The Cook Report in 1994."

All of this took place well before Michael Foster joined Carlton.
