The Register' (nicknamed El Reg) is a UK based website with a primary IT focus. It also, however, includes a number of more political stories, such as encroachment of civil liberties in the UK and mass surveillance on citizens.[1]

Reporting

A cover image which The Register chose for a 2014 article about GCHQ's use of tactics such as computer viruses and honey traps.[2]

The Register has published various articles about the UK spooks activities.
