Thomas Thune Andersen is a Danish business executive. He attended the 2009 Bilderberg meeting as CEO of Maersk Oil, a Danish oil and gas company owned by the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group, where he had worked for 32 years.
As of 2023 he was Chairperson of Lloyd's Register Group, VKR Holding, and Ørsted Energy, where "a special focus over the past 5 years has been energy transformation and sustainability towards a carbon free future."
Andersen was CEO of Maersk Oil from 2004 until 2009, a Danish oil and gas company owned by the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group with a maximum operated production of 550,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
