Tim Godwin is a retired senior UK policeman who became a Director of the management consultancy Foc'sle Solutions in December 2019.[1]

Own words

An experienced Police leader with 30 years police service a significant proportion of which at the highest levels in the UK as an innovator and strategist as well as an operational leader, responsible for a number of major national police and justice initiatives.

A member of numerous Police and Government boards for Policing, Justice and Community Safety including membership of the Sentencing Council for England and Wales at its introduction.

A strong belief that diversion and prevention are often better than enforcement and therefore heavily involved in setting up diversion programmes and charities, a co-founder of the Kickz programme with Football's Premier League and Football Foundation and the Rugby equivalent Hitz with the Premiership Rugby and RFU to help divert young people (men and women) from crime and to assist in the development of life skills, also supported the creation of the Safer London foundation.

Now in the private sector working with strong innovative teams to design and build assets that will support public safety and justice agencies to deliver improved performance and efficiency.

A Rugby supporter, Vice President of East London Rugby Club, who also enjoys the theatre, and walking.[2]
