Careful reading of the Wikipedia section "[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident#Details_in_dispute Details in Dispute]" will probably convince most readers that the Israeli attack could not have been an accident, but the rest of the article seeks to mis-inform, greatly over-stating the number and significance of those making a case for it having been an accident.

Perhaps most importantly, the article carries a very interesting comparison of all the "Reliable Sources" which touch on the subject, making it difficult to understand how the Wikipedia version can present the conclusion it attempts to do.
