'''The Archivist & the Advocate; Merging Matrixs:'''

I spent years learning the archivist and librarian crafts, to burn the midnight oil  and academics needed to pass the Veterans Administration Office of General Counsel's certifications ; "prepare, present & prosecute" on behalf of Veterans, Widows and Orphans their claims, winning benefits and cases against the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA).  I had great mentors and advisors. Yet it was my duties back in the U.S. Army that truly trained me the secrets of the records. The AG Corps. And handling the most sensitive of personnel records and files was indeed a great challenge in the era from pencil to dot matrix, from analog to digital records and filing. Eras change, laws change and discovering the best asset I gained was to be in the family of intense scrutiny para practitioners.

Time after time in cases involving classified missions, in as much as wounds and illnesses were sustained.  Proving the case became a maze of denials from the DoD to agencies saying "no record, and disregarding (FOIA) requests to assist my advocacy mission for the member or family.  Membership in the prestige Special Libraries Association taught me one core value; the Librarians motto : "Connect the sources to the knowledge." The driver behind all midnight oil is in sound, research, and in impact advocacy  I crafted my own wall chart reminder: "Design: Develop; Deliveries; Dominate." Trade-craft for advocacy,  when we truly do not leave anyone behind, is my simple approach to getting justice in service illnesses or injuries when the "mission did not happen on traceable records."

I'm sure someone reading this, a veteran or "Gold-Star, Black Star Family Member," can assuredly attest the benefits are indeed a partial road of on one side, dealing with the loss of a loved one or so wounded, eases the road to transition  as is better assisted with the Veterans benefits package. My mission had to become the best advocate possible.

One recent story were all in knowledge of is Mr. Edward Snowden.

Regardless of your feelings of "what he may have done, my thought had been on the injury he reported sustained during his training in the US Army.

I began to think like a "prosecutor" in his case, which is what advocates certified are licensed to do;  we: ''prosecute the VBA (the defendants) for NOT doing their job with in administration  proper, the awarding of evidence-based related awards.''

The two US Courts that permit certified advocates to argue cases are the U.S. Social Security Administration and the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals. Non-Attorneys, yet certified can present merits and challenge the lower decisions. I am a non-bar attorney I'm a paraprofessional, a kind of para-legal.

In U.S. Code, Title 38, The laws of veterans benefits is indeed my topic of best practices or in today's jargon; "Expert Subject Matter." I think like a veteran as I am one, and care that the veteran I research for is being thought about at the VBA agency; as opposed to being a production number of that clerks daily list of "to-do"s. Why now I was asked?  I replied the Edward Snowden's history of military injuries sustained during training.  Mr. Snowden, may have applied or may have just walk away from his rights to challenge the  benefits process.

Yet what about the Naval Intel officer shot and wounded in a sensitive mission? Or what about a US Army Green Beret paralyzed in a classified mission? Who will advocate for them? The ASA Staff Sergeant, her loss of four-fingers assisting in a DARPA beta test of some new piece of RDF jamming equipment, that is not listed on any inventory, anywhere? And the logistics clerk, while in the US Marines or US Air Force during a sensitive off the books DRONE operation was later given a "General" discharge for what most likely is PTSD, PST; for witnessing a sensitive mission gone awry, then drank self to death or near death?  Who will fight for them, for their sanity, their justice. Recently I learned of the NSA contractor we all read about in the Middle East a few year ago. To escape he shot in the public square a local. His intel once rebooted home found OBL. Back home now and a former veteran himself, His wife has left him, and insiders tell me he is on the slow road to suicide. The story's of operators in and out of uniform and due rights to medical and benefit compensation must be defended. I think this is as good a place to start.

I will be joined time in time by a renown GW medical school M.D. Maybe his quote is a constant reminder of service beyond the press or beltway above the calls of duty" "Not Guilty/Not Crazy" is the second driver to a transition in honor even when the record keepers, librarians and archivists cannot "confirm or deny" the operation. I'll show them how and keep ethical baselines above board in do so.  encrypted mail  service is available to help connect those dots to recovery- [[''jimpwhite@protonmail.com]]

This is a list of simple ways to improve WikiSpooks...

New pages to create

Your Own Topic

Wikispooks195.png

It's easy to start a new page - you just need to choose a title. If you're an experienced researcher, you won't need telling where to edit. Any page where you have opinions which are politically unwelcome on Wikipedia is likely to be a good topic, especially if you have specialist knowledge. Be bold! Starting a page is the best way to get help from other editors, who will pitch in and contribute what they can. Choose a title for the page and then enter it in to the URL (or make a link to it and then follow the link). As above, then click on 'Create page'.

Broken Links

BrokenLink.png

Browsing the site you'll sometimes see a link in red, which is a warning that it links to a page which hasn't been made yet. For example, there's nothing here yet about Reuters. To start a page like this, first click the link and then click on 'Create page'. A fast way to find broken links is to see this list of wanted pages.

Existing pages to edit

A Wikispooks style has gradually evolved since its launch in 2010. Many pages still need updating to reflect the improved technology now used on the site. Most of the following page sections, in particular, could probably do with replacement:

  • "See Also" - Instead of just listing these, it is usually better style to link these in from the text, explaining their relevance. The documents, in particular, will appear on the page automatically by adding the page title as one of the document's subjects. (See Template:Document for more on this)
  • "Affiliations" - Instead of just listing people memberships and loyalties, it is better to express these in the text itself, or by assigning them jobs which clarify the nature of these affiliations.
  • "External Links" - Most of these would be better replaced by links (with<ref> links explaining their relevance)

Your User Page

Each Wikispooks user has a User page - i.e. a page specially for them to write as much (or as little) as they like about themselves - or anything else. Unless you modified it, your user page will only have the short bio you sent when you made a login. Rating a document, writing more about yourself or uploading a photo could be a good way to get to know other users.

Recent Changes

One of the best ways to encourage your fellow Wikispooks editors is to improve the pages they are working on — even if it's something as simple as fixing a recent typo of theirs. The Recent changes link on the left shows you the most recently worked on pages.

New Pages

The list of new pages shows all the pages created in the last 7 days. Many of these will commonly be Category:Stubs.

5 Templates with Problems

Bug1.jpg

Wikispooks has a list of templates which are not working properly. These are all in active use, so would be a great help to the site if you can fix templates.

21 Untidy Pages

Broom.png

If would like to help tidy up, whether you're a re-organiser or a proof reader, see the list of untidy pages - pages which have good information on them, but for one reason or another do not present it well.

47 Priority Pages

!small.png

Wikispooks has a list of priority pages - pages which relate to deep politics and those with a high search engine ranking. Contributions on these pages are particularly welcome.

Pages to add data to

It you're looking for a small job which could be done in a couple of minutes, there are plenty of tasks other than working on complete articles:

3 Pages with unsourced text

UnsourcedDocs.png

Wikispooks has a list of pages with unsourced text. It is important to give 3rd parties correct attribution for their text.

74 Documents of unspecified Type

UnsourcedDocs.png

Some of the documents on Wikispooks do not have a document type. It doesn't take long to decide which documentType is appropriate for most of the Category:Untyped Documents.

32 Subjectless Documents

UnsourcedDocs.png

Some of the documents on Wikispooks do not have any specified subjects, so are excluded from cross referencing elsewhere on Wikispooks. The subject should be a comma separated list of WikiSpooks pagenames (whether or not they yet exist). See Category:Subjectless Documents for a list of such pages.

938 Pages missing Descriptions

UnsourcedDocs.png

Each page on Wikispooks should have a description, the box containing the summary paragraph at the top. Most have been given descriptions since this standard set in 2014, but there are still many which lack a description. Here is a list of Category:Undescribed Pages.

1 Page with an overlong description

UnsourcedDocs.png

Each description should be less than 500 characters. This is a category for pages with overlong descriptions.

676 Pages with unsourced statements

UnsourcedDocs.png

Some pages on Wikispooks contain assertions of contentious facts without a suitable references. See this category for those pages in which this is flagged up by template:CN.

197 Missing Images

UnsourcedDocs.png

Many pages on Wikispooks have no images at all. Uploading images is pretty straightforward, and is a good way to increase the clarity and appeal of articles. Here is a list of Category:Pages with broken file links, most of which are missing images.

215 Unsourced Documents

UnsourcedDocs.png

Some of the documents on Wikispooks are from unknown sources. A bit of Googling could quite likely turn up a source for most of the Category:Unsourced Documents.

Pages needing serious attention

26 Unclear Pages

Wikispooks-logo-unclear.png

Some pages are marked as needing clarification on particular points. See the list of unclear pages for such.

4 Problem Pages

Wikispooks-logo-twisted.png

Some pages have more serious problems. See the list of problem pages for pages which have serious problems of bias, gaps etc.

49 Pages with hardcoded data tables and lists

UnsourcedDocs.png

Some pages on Wikispooks still contain hardcoded data tables or lists of items that would be more functional if replaced by dynamically generated tables that were created from SMW data. See Category:Pages with hardcoded data tables and lists for a list.
