Description5 nights of unrest which followed the killing of Mark Duggan by the Metropolitan Police.

The 2011 England riots saw some of the deadliest violence in Britain of the 21st century.

What happened?

The riots broke out after the police shooting of Mark Duggan, a man from Tottenham. Most of the violence was in London, but also spread to other cities. For 5 days, England saw rioting, looting, arson, robbery, assault and murder.
