From the two parties favored by the electoral system, the candidates after the primaries were sitting president Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Jo Jorgensen, from the Libertarians and Howie Hawkins from the Green Party were two other candidates.

Background

The 2020 Presidential election was gamed by the Democrat's Transition Integrity Project, intent on ensuring an orderly transition of the US Presidency.

The Campaign

Despite a conspicous absence of audience at the Biden rallies and Trump in general drawing full houses, Biden offically received more than 81 million votes, the most votes ever cast for a candidate in a U.S. presidential election.

The election officially saw the highest voter turnout since 1900, with each of the two main tickets receiving more than 74 million votes, surpassing Barack Obama's record of 69.5 million votes from 2008.

A record number of voters, in excess of 65.6 million, cast postal votes, out of 158 million votes cast in total.

Election fraud

A sudden jump for Biden in Wisconsin

Widespread allegations of election fraud including testimony of election staff, fraudulent software, mail in ballot fraud and posthumous voting.

No evidence?

Arizona official Katie Hobbs opposed audits in Arizona. Hobbs said she was told that it was impossible to know whether the voting machines according to the department of Homeland Security the county turned over had been compromised and that Dominion Voting Systems should re-certify them for future use. The Arizona Senate's contractor spent over $20,000 to lease other machines in order to conduct two local elections. The audit still went through and was conducted by Florida-based company Cyber Ninjas, which had no experience in election audits, had not been certified by the federal government and had an owner that supported Trump and promoted Trump's claims of election fraud, but found no proof and gave Biden 300+ more votes.

The New York Times came under fire for the claim the news media will be the ones declaring the winner of the election (later deleting the tweet from 3rd November), AP went along similar lines again on the 6th of November.

Censorship

Post about censorship on Reddit, that screenshot on Imgur itself was deleted pretty soon.

Commercially-controlled media and the main social media companies were active in removal of any mention of electoral malpractice. Youtube reversed it's policy in 2023, due to concerns of "curtailing political speech".

Post-electoral drama

There were widespread speculation in corporate media and "alternative left media" that Trump planned a military coup to stay in power. The 2021 Washington D.C Riots that saw one person get shot to death by Capitol Police when Trump supporters and FBI informants stormed the building had great timing. The riots soon made sure all talk of fraud aligned with support for the rioters, with nobody placing questions on what Trump, Rudy Guiliani and FBI informants that played a leading part in the riots had truly planned. Several intelligence agencies were told "these riots were planned in advance".

Inauguration

20,000 troops filled Washington for the Biden inauguration, after Trump supporters were allowed to storm Capitol. The audience on the four big national U.S. television networks – CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox – together had a combined a combined audience of 10.5 million viewers for the Inauguration and its festivities, meaning less than one eighth of those who were reported as having voted for Biden bothered to actually watch him being sworn in.
