The new Chancellor of Austria Alexander Schallenberg resigned after a month in the role.[1] He implemented lockdowns and vaccine mandates.[2]

The resignation seems to have done him no career harm, as he was rewarded by being invited to attend the 2023 Bilderberg meeting.

He is a member of the influential Schallenberg family.
