A woman with zero qualification or experience of foreign affairs who, in 2009, was made 'High representative for Foreign Affairs and Security policy' in a deal which finally recognised that the position was NOT going to be given to Tony Blair
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Catherine Ashton, Baroness Ashton of UphollandPC, is a British Labour Party politician who is best known for her term as the 'High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy' and 'First Vice President of the European Commission' from 2009 to 2014 together with her concomitant involvement in the Ukrainian coup of 2014. She was the first holder of this newly created EU office which the UK government of Gordon Brown had earmarked for Tony Blair. In the event, Blair was, for obvious reasons, unacceptable to France and Germany and the position was eventually awarded to Ashton. She was a safe choice; someone with zero previous involvement in European and foreign affairs who could be relied upon to be guided by those who did. [1].
See her Wikipedia page for comprehensive information about her background which evidences a total lack of comprehension about the finer points of EU-US-UK-NATO affairs generally.
She is married to Peter Kellner, president of an online polling organisation, YouGov . [2]

spokesman Catherine Ashton. Telecon 25 February 2014
On 25 February 2014, some 4 days after the killing of dozens of people, both police and protestors, by snipers, Ashton received a telephone call from the Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet. The call was intercepted by disaffected Ukrainian security services personnel and published on YouTube and elsewhere. It was confirmed by both the Estonian and EU authorities as a genuine recording. Paet tells Ashton there is strong evidence that both the police and protestor casualties were shot by the same snipers who were under the control of the Ukrainian coup leaders. Ashton's response is akin to a rabbit caught in the headlights.
The evidence of the sniping atrocity having been a carefully planned Gladio-style False flag operation is very persuasive indeed and yet Catherine Ashton has remained tight-lipped about the episode ever since. She is thus complicit in the effective stone-walling of all attempts at a credible official investigation into the affair.
