Daniel Street is an Australian consultant for the World Bank, having previously worked as a political correspondent and as advisor to Kevin Rudd.
He is a member of the Global Panel Foundation, a think tank with many members from the intelligence community.
Education
Street took a degree from the Sydney University of Technology 2002 and a Masters in Development at the University of Cambridge in 2009.
Street is a former federal political correspondent for Channel Nine.
Between 2010 and 2012 he was a Development Advisor to Kevin Rudd during his term as Minister for Foreign Affairs. [1][2][3]
Prior to joining IFC, he worked as a consultant to the Gates Foundation, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum.[4]
In 2013 he became a strategist for the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he "drives the organisation’s country engagement efforts across the East Asia-Pacific region."[1]
In 2018 he held a speech at the Australia-China Relations Institute (ACRI) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS, to address ACRI's emerging leaders networking evening.[1]
