David Baddiel (born 28 May 1964) is a British comedian, novelist and television presenter. He is known for his work alongside Rob Newman in The Mary Whitehouse Experience and partnership with Frank Skinner. Besides comedy, Baddiel is also a published novelist and a screenwriter who is the author of the children's novels The Parent Agency, The Person Controller, Animalcom and Birthday Boy.[1]
In January 2018, in a row on Twitter David Baddiel, who is Jewish, accused former MP George Galloway of being anti-Semitic. When the founder of Momentum, Jon Lansman, jumped to Baddiel's defence, Galloway threatened them both with legal action for defamation, indicating he would call Jeremy Corbyn as a witness.[2]
