Hard drinking and physically imposing, David Sánchez Morales was somewhat indiscreet and suffered a sudden death just before he was due to testify to the HSCA.

David Sánchez Morales was a US Deep state operative implicated in the JFK assassination and other deep events.

JFK assassination

In a 1994 letter, Bradley E. Ayers claimed that David Morales was one of 9 people based at JM/WAVE who "have intimate operational knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the assassination" of John F. Kennedy. the others were Edward Roderick, Gordon Campbell, Grayston Lynch, Theodore Shackley, Felix Rodriguez, Thomas Clines, Rip Robertson and Tony Sforza.[1]

In January 2004, E. Howard Hunt gave a taped interview claiming that Lyndon Johnson instigated the JFK assassination, and that the key organisers were David Sánchez Morales, Cord Meyer, David Atlee Phillips and Frank Sturgis.[2]

Larry Hancock in his 2006 book, Someone Would Have Talked reveals that Jose Sanjenis Perdomo was closely involved with David Morales in 1962 and 1963 who trained and prepared him.[3]

RFK assassination

Some researchers claim to have identified Sánchez Morales inside the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on the night of June 5, 1968, when Robert Kennedy was assassinated.[4]

Death

Sánchez Morales was taken suddenly ill in May 1978, just weeks before he was due to testify before the House Select Committee on Assassinations.[4] Morales’s wife, Joanne, requested that there should not be an autopsy.[2] He reportedly died of a heart attack.[4]
