Dubai is the largest city in the UAE. Dubai has been ruled by the Al Maktoum family since 1833. The ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is also the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and member of the Supreme Council of the Union (SCU).
Architecture
Dubai boasts the world's tallest building, and a large number of hotels and other facilities catering for the super rich. The Burj Khalifa, an 828 meter high tower was completed at a cost of around $1.5 billion.
Money laundering
Sibel Edmonds states that Dubai is one of the 3 main centers for Operation Gladio B money laundering, together with Malta and Cyprus.[1]
