Sofia Borges (possibly also Australian citizenship) was Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the UN 2010 - 2016. Her diplomatic career in the UN system is especially involved in the implementation of the Agenda 2030. She attended Event 201, the infamous dress rehearsal for COVID-19.
Milena Pires Representative 2016-2021 went into exile in Australia when Pires was nine years old, during the Indonesian occupation of East Timor. She is also possibly a dual Australian/Timorese citizen.
The Representative from 2021, Karlito Nunes, previously served as Senior Programme Manager for Democracy and Governance at the International Republican Institute, one of the main components of the US regime change organization National Endowment for Democracy.
