|Born||24 November 1940|
“In his memoirs, Cuban intelligence official Fabian Escalante asserted that Nixon had met with an important group of Texas businessmen to arrange funding for the operation [to assassinate JFK]. Escalante, whose service was vaunted for its U.S. spy network, claimed that the Texas group was headed by George H. W. Bush and Jack Crichton.”
Russ Baker (2009)
Escalante wrote in The Secret War: CIA Covert Operations Against Cuba, 1959-62 that Jack Alston Crichton and George H. W. Bush were active in raising funds for Operation 40.
