The 2010 Halifax International Security Forum was held November 20-22, 2010, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.[1]

Halifax International Security Forum hosts only 300 speakers and participants: among them, cabinet ministers and senior government officials, 4-star generals, justices of supreme courts, legislators, business leaders, journalists, writers, academics, and leaders from prominent think tanks and NGOs. Halifax is kept small to generate an intimate atmosphere and an intense focus where real work can get done.[2]
