The International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism is an Israeli institute which is based in the Interdisciplinary Center, a private educational institution in Herzliya, Israel. The International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (IICT) is the shortened and most common name for the institute.

Official narrative
The Centre was founded in 1996, and claims to be "the leading academic institute for counter-terrorism in the world, facilitating international cooperation in the global struggle against terrorism." It also claims to be "an independent think tank providing expertise in terrorism, counter-terrorism, homeland security, threat vulnerability and risk assessment, intelligence analysis and national security and defense policy."
Concerns
The Institute is fully signed up to the ideology of the "war on terror".[1] The Center runs the World Summit on Counter-Terrorism which was held for the eighth time on 8-11 September 2008.[2]
