Ken Lisaius is a U.S. businessman and lobbyist. In 2021, he was hired by the biometric digital ID firm Clear to lead the company’s regional and national public affairs operations and oversee its external and internal communications strategies. The hiring is part of the company's effort to establish "a common biometric health passport for post-COVID travel".[1]

Eucation

Lisaius graduated from Washington State University in 1992.[2]

Career

Lisaius worked as Deputy White House Press Secretary 2000-2006, during George W. Bush's presidency.[2]

Prior to joining BIO, Lisaius held senior positions with Brightline Media and VOX Global. From 2001 to 2006 Lisaius held several positions at the White House, including Special Assistant to the President and Deputy White House Press Secretary.

In 2013, The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) announced that Ken Lisaius has been named Vice President of Communications.[3]

In 2021, he was hired by the biometric digital ID firm Clear to lead the company’s regional and national public affairs operations and oversee its external and internal communications strategies. At the same time, it also hired former Biden campaign content strategist Laura Brounstein as head of content and storytelling.[1]
