Ludwig Ivens[1] and his brother Leon are Belgian brothers named in a Dutch TV doc about Operation Gladio.
Connections
Ivens worked together with Francis Vanhee and is connected to Jean Marie Creton. Ivens was arrested for trying to smuggle 1000s of weapons, linked in a Dutch TV doc to Gladio.[2]
Conviction
Ivens never had to serve any jail time - even after his convection - for working with serious criminals involved. Arms smuggling was Ivens main occupation. In 2007, Ivens still was seeking millions from the Belgian government for being "prosecuted illegally".[3]
