Executive Intelligence Review

Full article: Executive Intelligence Review

Lydon LaRouche founded Executive Intelligence Review (EIR), which is still a useful source of reference due to its addressing third rail topics, such as the Jerusalem Conference on International Terrorism.

Schiller Institute

The Schiller Institute is a German based political and economic think tank founded by his wife Helga Zepp-LaRouche, with members in 50 countries. The International Schiller Institute is a collaboration between sister organisations registered in five countries, Schiller Institute Inc. (USA), Schiller-Institut e.V (Germany), L’Institut Schiller (France), Schiller Institutte (Denmark), and Schiller Institutet (Sweden).[1] It is among the principal organisations of the LaRouche movement. The institute's stated aim is to apply the ideas of the poet and philosopher Friedrich Schiller to what it calls the "contemporary world crisis." Their constitution (adopted in 1984), is defined in opposition to international financial institutions and other supranational bodies for causing a state of tyranny in the world, especially amongst developing nations.[2]

Open Letter to Pope Francis

On 20 December 2022, the Schiller Institute addressed an open letter to Pope Francis:

Your Holiness,
Greetings from the grouping of Political and Social Leaders of the World to Stop the Danger of Nuclear War, initiated by the Schiller Institute in Germany.
We have met on three occasions to discuss the impending danger of nuclear war and global Armageddon resulting from the war between Ukraine and Russia, with a view to taking whatever action necessary to stop the war and to bring peace. On 17 November 2022, our group issued a Declaration to Stop the Threat of Nuclear War, signed by legislators and former legislators from Latin America, the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa.
In that declaration, we highlighted Your Holiness’s call for a negotiated, peaceful solution. We further welcome Your Holiness’s offer of the Vatican as a possible neutral ground for peace talks – without any preconditions – between Russia and Ukraine. Our group wishes to support this initiative in any way we can, including gathering together all who wish for peace and the prevention of nuclear war.
We note that others in Europe and the United States have also offered venues for the Russian and Ukrainian leadership to negotiate peace. We believe it is urgent to unify all such efforts into a globe-spanning movement to bring resolution to this conflict, taking into consideration the valid security interests of all parties.
In that spirit, we hereby sign this letter to indicate that support, and call on other political and social leaders around the world, regardless of differences in ideology or religious faith, to add their signatures as well.
We intend to convene a Fourth Seminar of Political and Social Leaders of the World to Stop the Danger of Nuclear War in early 2023 to further this push for peace and to stop the danger of nuclear war, and we extend an invitation to a representative from the Vatican to attend.

Criticism

Wikipedia

Wikipedia does not hold back when compiling a biography, which might indicate he broached taboo subjects, with articles like "George Bush: Crack Kingpin of the 1980s".[4]

It states he "was an American political activist, convicted fraudster, cult leader and founder of the LaRouche movement," which "engaged in conspiratorial beliefs and violent and/or illegal activities" and "created disinformation" Later in the 1980s, criminal investigations led to convictions of several LaRouche movement members, including LaRouche himself."

Another taboo subject was the "October Surprise" allegation, namely that in October 1980 Ronald Reagan's campaign staff conspired with the Iranian government during the Iran hostage crisis to delay the release of 52 American hostages held in Iran, with the aim of helping Reagan win the 1980 United States presidential election against Jimmy Carter. The Iranians had agreed to this, according to the theory, in exchange for future weapons sales from the Reagan administration.

The analysis was later confirmed by former Iranian President Abolhassan Banisadr and other sources.[5]

Propornot

On his death, Propornot commented "He's burning in hell with Robert Parry and Lord Haw-Haw".

“Today, the Kiev regime employs unacceptable fascist war methods using terrorist tactics and in doing so is becoming increasingly similar to ISIS and al-Qaeda. This, however, is not surprising, considering that these groups were created by the same masterminds and instructors from Anglo-Saxon countries."
