Michel Bon is a French businessman and senior civil servant. He attended the Bilderberg/2001 and Bilderberg/2003 meetings.

Education

He is a graduate of the ESSEC Business School, of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, of the École nationale d'administration and of Stanford Business School.[1][2]

In 1981, he was selected to be one of the first Young Leaders of the French-American Foundation.[3]

Career

He worked at the banks Crédit national and Crédit Agricole.[4] He has been CEO then Chairman of the supermarket group Carrefour.[4] From 1993 to 1995 he was head of the French unemployment agency.[4]

He was Chairman of France Télécom from 1995 to 2002.[4][5]

He was president of the Institut Pasteur from 2003 until 2006[1]. He was also an administrator at Lafarge and at Air Liquide.[1]
