Military Professional Resources Inc. was founded in 1987 in anticipation of the end of the Cold war.

An anonymous source claimed that Laura Dietrich worked fro MPRI.

By 2002, Military Professional Resources Inc. had grown to 40 administrators, 800 field agents, over 12,500 personnel on call and $100 million worth of contracts. They operate on a training and advisory level.[1]

A group of Serbs who lived in Krajina until Operation Storm sued MPRI accusing them for "participation in genocide", militarily equipping the Croatian Armed Forces, training the Croatian officers and developing a plan of Operation Storm. The claim was presented to the Federal Court in Chicago, and prosecutors were asking for $10.4 billion compensation.[2][3]

On September 26, 2014 the lawsuit was rejected by Judge John Lee because the war in former Yugoslavia is not under jurisdiction of this court.[4]
