Rene Sergent was a French bureaucrat who was involved in the Marshall Plan and worked for NATO in the early 1950s, where he headed the Economics and Finance Division.[1][2][3]

He was Secretary-General of the Organisation for European Economic Cooperation (OEEC) from 1955 to 1961, when it was changed into the OECD. [4] The OEED was closely linked to NATO and the Marshall Plan.[5]

He was Vice-President, Syndicat General de la Construction Electrique.
