Rigged science is the process of hindering free exploration and research. It is the corrupted counterpart of science |
Rigged science (alternatively: "fraudulent science, "corrupted science", "for-profit-science") refers to the process of hindering free exploration by setting expected goals for monetary gains and survival of scientists, hiring opportinistic individuals, omitting data, avoiding the bigger picture that would contradict or put in perspective the rigged outcome.
The scientific spirit, which is based on the willingness to put hypotheses to the test and let them be falsified is perverted by subjecting heretics to character assassination and psychological warfare often supported by the commercially-controlled media and cut off funds.
Also, increasingly hypotheses are formulated in such a way, that they can not by falsified, i.e. in medicine and climate research. From a scientific POV these are ideologies rather than hypotheses.

Christopher Langan | “[...] but that's the way it works, it's one giant self-reinforcing system, basically it's run by people with money and if people with money want certain questions to be answered in certain ways, then they make sure that nobody advances in academia who does not parrot the party line, and say what he is expected to say, so this kind of self reinforcement is antithetical to intellectual freedom and creativity.
