On 23 May 2014, I addressed this email headed "UN to Reopen Dag Hammarskjöld Death Inquiry" to Joe Lauria at the Wall Street Journal (<newseditor@wsj.com>), copying to 98 unidentified recipients:

Dear Joe,

Your article in last Monday's Wall Street Journal was an eye-opener for me. Let's hope the UN General Assembly votes in 2014 to reopen the adjourned 1962 Inquiry into the Dag Hammarskjöld plane crash in September 1961. I was particularly intrigued when you wrote "Katanga's uranium was used in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombs, and keeping the uranium from a pro-Soviet Congo was also a CIA priority, the Hammarskjöld Commission said."

Do you think the CIA was involved in Dag Hammarskjöld's death? Or, like Patrice Lumumba's murder in January 1961, it was organised by Britain's MI6?
