Talk:Media conglomerate

Following: https://nltimes.nl/tags/voice-holland (and the fact that this was on my agenda in 2018, before, you know, the whole bat-flu thing), I'm thinking of making a similar page to corporate media here. As corporate media is also focused on the sole media outlets (CNN, BBC), this page would be about listing for example Comcast, Disney, AT&T, News Corp, TimeWarner and ViacomCBS and how their consolidation and bifurcation with politicians/sexual blackmail (Berlusconi, SEA-Asian's entertainment venues/CEO's underage sex rings, and my first link) paves the way for politicians to hold leverage through criminal means similar to the page on Hollywood and how their policies mirror SDS trade & statecraft.

Maybe it should be added to the consolidation page. But let's say we'll extend it to social media, video game publishers, music industries, etc. Is it enough to validate an own page? Otherwise, questioning why this should just be added to the consolidation page, you could argue all my examples are in fact media (interactive or audio/sports). TL:DR: I wonder if it fits the page and should be "FA'd" like the newspaper section on that page or just be placed to extend that page. Any ideas or opinions are welcome. --Jun (talk) 22:23, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

The issue is more whether you are able to add enough contents- what if you start with expanding a conglomerate or two, and then do the consolidation later? Other possible examples, of the top of my head: Mediaset, Schibsted, Axel Springer, Hubert Burda, Fairfax, Vivendi, O Globo, Dassault/Figaro.

Yeah, I see the logic in that. So off to research into them I go. Ty for the input. --Jun (talk) 22:20, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
