Self-styled whistleblower whom Tom Secker doubts

Tony Farrell styles himself "The Principled Intelligence Analyst Standing Apart from the Police"[1] but Tom Secker summarises him as "a fake whistleblower designed to derail the 7/7 Truth movement", likening him to David Shayler.[2]

Career

By his own account, Tony Farrell worked for twelve years as "Principal Intelligence Analyst" for South Yorkshire Police, UK. Documentation on the point seems to be lacking. His job involved producing a yearly "Strategic Threat Assessment Matrix" to determine how the police force had to prioritize its activities. Assessed "threats" ranged from ASBOs (anti-social behavior orders) to the terrorist threat presented by local mosques. Having a statistics degree, it was his job to translate the different "strategic threats" into a "matrix" of relative numerical weighted probabilities.

Later activities

He has continued to use the internet and other alternative media to broadcast his views. On Unwelcome Guests he observed that "the people in the United Kingdom by and large have not woken up to the level of deceit and the corruption in high places."[3]

Correspondence with Tom Secker

Tom Secker reports that he has met Tony Farrell personally and claims to have engaged him over Email for many months and "can 100% say that this man is a fraud. There is 'no way he got sacked by special branch, no way he is another truth teller persecuted by the establishment".[2]

9/11 activism

After researching 9/11 on the internet, Tony Farrell came to the conclusion that 9/11 was a false flag attack, carried out not by Islamic terrorists, but by deep state operatives embedded inside the US and other governments. When he reported his beliefs, and similar suspicions about 7/7, he was told that he held beliefs that were "incompatible" with his position and he was dismissed.[citation needed]

7/7 Activism

Farrell's website is focused on 7/7 truth, and includes a video he produced 7 years after the event with Nick Kollerstrom, of which Tom Secker is dismissive. Secker cites a discussion of a single photo, which Kollerstrom suggests may have been photoshopped. Neither admits that this is just a single frame of a lot more CCTV footage which had been released. Kollerstrom demonstrably knew this since had earlier seen this on an episode of the BBC's Conspiracy files'.[2]

Charles Seven activism

Farrell's website gives prominence to a Ms. Charles Seven whom he suggests has been the victim of some injustice.

Tax resistance

In 2012 he withheld his council tax, stating that under Section 15(iii) of the UK Terrorism Act 2000 it would have been an offence to pay it since he had "reasonable cause to suspect that it may be used, for the purposes of terrorism."[4]
