Tor Sellström is a political scientist who was based at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, Sweden between 1994 and 2001, and co-ordinated the project 'National Liberation in Southern Africa: The Role of the Nordic Countries'.
Tor Sellström gained his first degree from the University of Stockholm and undertook post-graduate studies at the Institute for Political Studies, University of Paris. He has been employed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Angola and by the Swedish International Development Authority, SIDA, holding various positions in Southern Africa and Sweden.
Before joining the Nordic Africa Institute he served as Deputy Director of the Namibian Economic Policy Research Unit. Currently he holds a position as Senior Advisor at ACCORD, South Africa.[1]
