This page is to announce server and site software maintenance/upgrade work or any other issues that may affect normal site operation and usage. If maintenance is ongoing it will be mentioned here and linked in from the Main Page.
Current Site Status:
During periods of maintenance, you should save your work offline regularly - a copy/paste to your local machine 'Notepad' or other text editor before attempting a regular page save, as there is a possibility that your work may get lost due.

Upgrading Semantic MediaWiki to V1.9RC1. Normal site response may be very slow whilst clearing the large jobs queue consequent on re-building all semantic data. It may also be necessary to re-boot the site server. --Peter P (talk) 08:48, 29 December 2013 (GMT)
- All-new installation/u/grade procedure rolled out for the 1.9 release. Upgrade is being postponed until 1.9 stable release expected w/c 30 December 2013. Test install of 1.9 RC1 is being done on the Sandbox wiki today instead --Peter P (talk) 10:03, 29 December 2013 (GMT)
