The database will be locked for brief periods. The upgrades require a full database rebuild and the html cache will have to repopulate. The DB rebuild will take 2-3 days and completion will be advised here. Editing and page creation will be OK during this process but is likely to be much slower. --Peter (talk) 11:16, 7 January 2020 (UTC)

A major update of the code software (MediaWiki), to v. 1.32.2[1] and v.3.0.2 of Semantic MediaWiki.
