Postponed 'til tomorrow (1 Jan 2014). The new u/grade procedure requires the LocalSettings SMW statements to be disabled. Since SMW is used extensively on the main page, this effectively disables the entire site until complete. Hopefully it will only be for a few minutes. I'll leave the warning up in the meantime so people are well warned and I intend to start the u/grade sharp at 7:30am GMT --Peter P (talk) 18:36, 31 December 2013 (GMT)

First attempt at using 'Composer' to install/upgrade failed - an apparently required parameter reported missing on execution of the command line provided by the SMW help:Install page. I intend to crack this today so the site may become unavailable for periods of 5-10 minutes whilst the banner warning is displayed.
