First pass at moving to the new server. A full backup will be started at 13:00 GMT. Any edits after that time and before the site banner warning is removed risk being lost. The backups will be installed/imported to the new server. It should take no more than 2 hours. If all goes well we will be operational again on the new server; otherwise I will revert to the existing one whilst any issues are resolved, then have another go at a later date. There is in fact a niggling potential issue connected with SSL and MW CSS which can only be fully tested by pointing the DNS record at the new server so fingers crossed --Peter P (talk) 14:16, 14 January 2014 (GMT)
