Henry Lee Lucas was a serial killer whose sentence was inexplicably commuted by governor George W. Bush,[1][2][3][4][5] after two attorneys general confirmed that he was on a job in Jacksonville, Fla., when he was supposed to be in Williamson Co. committing the crime for which he was sentenced to die.[6]

People discussing this case on Indymedia in the 2000s (and others[7]) argued there is a connection between the two.[8][9]

He was an acquaintance of Ottis Toole.
