Official narrative

On 7 December 2022, more than 3000 police officers participated in raids arresting 25 members of a group of so-called Reichbürger for allegedly planning a coup d'état in Germany.[1] A group called "Patriotic Union" (German: Patriotische Union) or "The Council" (German: Der Rat) aimed to reestablish a monarchist government in Germany in the tradition of the German Reich. The group allegedly wanted to provoke chaos and a civil war in Germany in order for it to take power.[2]

[Alliance 90/The Greens|Green]] politician Katharina Dröge thanked the people in the security authorities on Twitter who "work every day to protect our democracy".[3]

Storming of the Reichstag 2020

Full article: Rated 5/5 “The Storming of the Reichstag”

Independent journalist Uri Gellerman commented, comparing it to the situation in civil rights demonstrations against Covid in 2020 and an attempted false flag attack:

But since the Reichsbürger are costumed in the grotesque clothes of the long-gone Reich, since some of them collect and sometimes use weapons, they are useful as boogeymen. When the civil rights movement was approaching a climax in August 2020, the Berlin Senator for the Interior authorized the Reichbürger to hold a permanent rally on the stairs of the Reichstag. That was the same senator who happily had his police smash the actions of the democratic rights activists and whose judiciary did not approve of the rallies of the civil rights movement as a matter of principle. Of course, the majority media sold the state-sanctioned action as a "storming of the Reichstag."

Those familiar with what the structure of the state looks like, were and are certain: The Reichsbürger action in front of the Reichstag was registered and carried out by provocateurs from the Office for the Protection of the Constitution in order to defame the cross-political movement. There are - of course - allegedly "cross-political thinkers" among the newest coup plotters. Because even if the civil rights movement is currently weakening, it is still the only alternative against a state that damaged democracy with the Corona regime and involved Germany in a dangerous war with its submission to NATO. Such alternatives must be discredited and thrown into the Reichsbürger pot so that they do not become contagious..
Before a wish becomes real rebellion, the instruments of repression must be popularized as necessary measures. The supposed Reichsbürger coup serves this purpose. It gives people like the Federal Minister of the Interior, Nancy Faeser, the opportunity to come with sentences such as: "The investigations allow us to look into the abyss of a terrorist threat from the Reichsbürger milieu" and further "We know how to defend ourselves with all severity against the enemies of democracy."[4]
