Sir Adrian Bruce Fulford PC QC (born 8 January 1953), styled The Rt Hon. Lord Justice Fulford, is a Lord Justice of Appeal. On 3 March 2017 he was appointed Investigatory Powers Commissioner.[1]

Career

Fulford was a judge of the International Criminal Court in The Hague from 2003-12, and the Senior Presiding Judge for England and Wales from January 2016 to March 2017.

Backing PIE?

In 2014, the Daily Mail reported that "Lord Justice Fulford, named last year as an adviser to the Queen, was a key backer of the notorious Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE) which police suspect of abusing children on an ‘industrial scale’. "[2] "The Mail on Sunday states “But he said he had “no memory” of being a founder member of the Conspiracy Against Public Morals, which continues “was set up to defend PIE leaders facing criminal charges.”"[3]

"Fully exonerated"

He resigned following this report, but was later "fully exonerated" of misconduct allegations, according to the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office. The report was only published in summary form.[4]
